Alpen Fleece /Warmkeeper

Alpenfleece/Warmkeeper fabric is a popular french terry fabric available in our shop by the metre in various colours. It has a smooth surface similar to jersey fabric. The inner part is brushed, making it very warm and comfortable to wear. As this fabric is stretchy, it is ideal for sweaters, joggers, as well as hats and neck warmers on cold days.

Alpenfleece is a stretchy fabric, so it is recommended to use a stretch needle or a jersey needle when sewing. When using a domestic sewing machine, it is recommended to use a special overlock stitch or a zig-zag stitch to maintain the fabric's stretchiness after processing. It is recommended to use polyester thread.
