Imitation leather (also known as faux leather, eco leather, synthetic leather, or leatherette) is available in our selection in various popular colours: black, cream, white, dark grey, ecru, and different unique patterns that you won't find elsewhere.

It is a fabric composed of two layers. The bottom layer of this material is made of cotton jersey, while the upper layer is composed of polyurethane. The polyurethane surface is known for its tensile strength and high resistance to abrasion.

It shares many characteristics with genuine leather. It is a very durable material with high resistance to wear, although naturally slightly lower compared to real leather. However, a significant advantage over other alternatives for genuine leather is its breathability on both sides.

Another advantage is its wide range of colours. Our selection offers up to 25 different shades, allowing you to coordinate it with almost anything.

Many medical aids are also made from eco leather, where properties similar to leather and non-allergenic characteristics are desired. It is also used for sewing bags, handbags, and wallets.

In our e-shop, you will find eco leather in two types: garment leather and upholstery leather. The difference between garment leather and upholstery leather: Garment leather has a lower weight and is elastic, while upholstery leather has a higher weight and is more rigid.

A new addition is the sale of special automotive triple-layer faux leather suitable for upholstering car seats or motorcycle seats.

Maintenance is relatively simple, but it is necessary to care for it as you would care for genuine leather. When eco leather gets dirty, cleaning with a damp cloth is sufficient. It is essential not to use any chemical products such as dry cleaning agents, gasoline, disinfectants, and so on. Regular impregnation with products specialised for this type of material is also recommended.
