How to sew stretch velvet: We recommend using a needle for stretch fabrics with a thickness of 75 to 90, depending on the weight of the fabric and the number of layers you are sewing. To maintain the elasticity of the fabric, it is ideal to use an overlock sewing machine. If you are working with a standard domestic sewing machine, opt for a stretch stitch (zigzag or Z-stitch).
