Partially waterproof Water-resistant Polyester Fabric is PU (polyurethane) coated on one side, so it has water resistant properties. Polyester fabric is very resistant to abrasion and stretching, it is widely used in the textile and furniture industry, tourism and avertising.

This fabric is the most used fabric for prams, strollers and its accessories.

Comparision of Water-resistant Polyester Fabric and Oxford Polyester Waterproof Fabric with PVC:

Water-resistant Polyester Fabric is a softer fabric than Oxford Polyester Waterproof Fabric with PVC, it's easy to work with - PVC coated fabric seems harder compared to it. That's why polyester fabric is more appropriate for f.e. softer cushions for garden seating or a waterproof pad for a baby.
If you use it for outdoor seating, the fabric cannot handle a strong storm or heavy rains - it leaks through, but dries very quickly. We recommend putting away these cushions while it rains or letting it dry properly after the rain.
