French Terry - Baby wrappers

You can get quality French Terry fabric in both brushed and unbrushed versions at Takoy, in various shades and with custom patterns. This fabric is also known as sweatshirt fabric. At first glance, it resembles a jersey fabric on the face side, but it is actually knitted more tightly and has a higher weight, making it slightly more stable. The difference lies in the back side, which consists of loops in the unbrushed sweatshirt fabric. We offer summer sweatshirt fabric (also called unbrushed, with a weight of 240g to 250g) and winter sweatshirt fabric with a higher weight (ranging from 300g to 320g), available in both brushed and unbrushed versions and without elastane. The unbrushed version has loops on the back side, while the brushed version has been specially brushed to create a warm layer similar to fleece fabric.

Sweatshirting fabric is suitable for sewing casual clothing such as tracksuits, sweatshirts, and sweatpants, as well as spring and autumn coats. Alpenfleece is also classified as a type of french terry fabric, specifically designed for winter and cold weather. Alpenfleece has a jersey-like face side and a plushie, insulated back side. The fabric has a slightly stretchy feel, despite not containing elastane. It is suitable for thick sweatshirts, leggings, and jackets.
