Cotton canvas is easy to sew even with a domestic sewing machine, making it suitable for beginners. Simply use a straight stitch with universal needles and finish the seam allowance with a zig-zag stitch. Cotton canvas is used to sew household items (dish towels, tablecloths, kitchen aprons), as well as practical products such as bed sheets and pillows. It is also popular for making bags and various covers. Thick cotton canvas is often used for decorations or upholstery. Cotton canvas and cotton poplin are commonly used fabrics for clothing, so you can choose them for women's and men's shirts, dresses, or blouses. Since it is a natural material, it may shrink when washed, so we recommend pre-washing before sewing or using steam ironing to eliminate any shrinkage.
